About the Author

L. D. Whitney was born on the rolling prairies of the Great Plains, but now calls the High Desert his home. He has worked as an Invasive Species Manager, Professional Archeologist, and a History Teacher. When not traveling or writing, he spends his time experiencing local culture and cohosting the critically acclaimed podcast "Rogues in the House".
